Hi, I’m Yuta Agawa—an independent mathematical physicist in Japan. I look at physics through geometry, especially holonomy, and try to derive what we can straight from spacetime.
Day to day I study QFT and particle physics via holonomy. I also like swinging the same hard-won math tools into foundational questions in machine learning, and doing physics-first math—let the geometry suggest the definitions, then prove the theorems.
On toy models: they’re not there because I think reality is a toy—they’re there because clarity beats hand-waving.
For the longer story, see the About Me page. A complete list of my publications, including preprints, lives on my ORCID profile.
